It is -30, though, which I could do without. If one of us was going to pick up the kids after work, we'd have to leave an hour early (and lose an hour in the AM to the commute). I'm impressed the system kept running through the storm yesterday, because we had a few hours of intense show and wind. The buses that are working have to do multiple routes so kids often get to school really late. Not sure if that's also related to schools closing but maybe. Some areas haven't built new schools in decades, so you're dealing with boilers from 1960 and old distribution systems.</p> <p>And don't forget, we have a lot of poverty in the US.
