I didn't anticipate that my scar would be super numb and sensitive so I couldn't put anything on it all like I thought I would. I had staples that came out at 1 week, and the person who removed the staples used steri strips and then I removed the steri stris right before my 2 week checkup. Even at my 2 week appointment it looked pretty good, and healed well and very quickly. I believe the panties claim to help with the scar, though my scar is horrible. I am not sure why, but it is not typical. Anyway, the panties also help bind you without the bulk of the binder. It felt really nice on the incision, was approved by my OB, and I healed very quickly with minimal scarring.
