I woke up this morning feeling loads better. So, I'm guess it was my bowels. I'll still keep an eye on things, but I think for now I'm in the clear.

@katiew92081: I would definitely see the doctor about it. Especially since maybe there could be some things not completely gone? I think I read something about leftover placentas and stuff but I would want a professional opinion. Good luck Hun!

Tenderness in the abdomen can indicate an infection. If you get any type of fever, chills, dizziness, go to the ER ASAP.

I had it happen to me from retained tissue. It's not joke. I was about 2 weeks pp at the time.

No fever...of course it's Friday night, so I'll have to go to Urgent care if I want to get checked before Monday. So, hopefully this will go away this weekend and I'll be able to move on! If not, Monday it is.

@mrsmenow: I took my temp with an ear thermometer, but I had just taken my ear buds out and it was a few decimals higher than normal, but nothing alarming. I'm gonna take it again in a little bit, after my ears cool down, lol

Any fever, shaking chills? Regardless I would give a call to the doctors office. I am guessing they will want you to come in to assess it.

Sometimes your muscles seperate during the end stages of pregnancy/delivery and you don't notice until after. It might be that or something else.

I feel like there's a rock in my abdomen. I'm about a week and a half postpartum, and I can hardly walk! It's not the same type of feeling as my uterus cramping. I think it's my bowels, but I've been taking stool softeners, and been more regular this week than I was last week.

I took gas-x today, along with zantac. Seems to alleviate it a little, but only slightly.

Any suggestions? Is this normal? Should I be concerned about it at all? it's a little tender when I touch my abdomen. Is this just my organs going back to their regular places and getting used to it? I don't feel nauseated.

I haven't been eating the greatest diet this week, cause we're at the mercy of take out and donated meals while I recover. But, like I said, I'm pretty regular, thanks to stool softeners, so I don't really think it's a constipation issue.

Ideas?
