@josina: I have acne scars too. I really like this product; it takes a while to see a difference, but I do believe my skin looks a lot smoother and better!

I use retinol and a daily chemical peel pad by Peter Thomas Roth. I'm not opposed to getting Botox down the road either!

My dermatologist has been advertising voluma a lot lately. They claim it doesn't wear off. Compelling pictures, but I need to know someone who got it done! (Image from google)

ETA: for dark circles not wrinkles!

So, my dermatologist has said that the best thing you can do is to get yourself a prescription for Retin A. It's the only thing that makes a difference when it comes to wrinkles.

Once you've got them, use a primer to fill in the lines before you put makeup on.

@futuremama: I hadn't even thought about non-pregnancy/nursing friendly chemicals but that will be an issue as well! My under eye circles are awful, and even worse when I smile (same for the wrinkles) Ugh.
@yoursilverlining: I've had bad skin for ever and have plenty of acne scars to go with; wish I could luck out on the wrinkles! I will check out your recommendations!

I’m 35 and don’t have many wrinkles/fine lines, but I have oily skin which apparently helps (and I’m still dealing with acne, so ya know, it’s not all roses!) and I’ve been religiously using very good products like about 10 years.

The product line I am most loyal to is Dr. Hauschka. I also use (and really like) Shiseido eye cream at night, but I’ve also used other night creams over the years and liked them too. I also religiously use sunscreen and drink tons of water to try to prevent damage as well.

Commenting to follow. I'm in the same boat but have no recommendations. I'm still nursing my 4 month old, and I feel like a lot of the products I've seen with good reviews contain chemicals that aren't nursing friendly. I've been using Murad moisturizer, which I really like, but it isn't anti-aging.

I'm starting to get laugh lines around my mouth, and the dark circles under my eyes are out of control. The former are definitely from age. I'm hoping the dark circles aren't permanent and are just from stress due to having a toddler and infant. I think I'm probably delusional though.

I'm 33 and my eye wrinkles are out of control lately and the under-eye shadows are awful. All I use right now is a BB cream and makeup.

Do you have wrinkles? Do you do anything to treat/prevent?

I would second Botox. I don't have it *anymore*, since I'm preggo, but I got it donw a couple of times after I turned 30. The benefits of starting early are that I needed less, so it was cheaper. I think only about $220 each time (I only went twice in one year).

My family was horrified at first....like, completely horrified. But they couldn't even tell a difference--but i could, because I knew exactly where my wrinkles were before. My older sister (39 years old), just got it for her first time, and even on her (she has more wrinkles), the difference was small, but she did look better.

Before you ever do it, you imagine botox being this scary thing that totally changes your facial features. But the difference will be very small--you'll look better, but *no one* will be able to tell why. Even my husband didn't know! he was super against me doing it, but I did it anyway without him knowing. Then told him 2 days later just to prove that he'd never notice.

For something other than Botox, I would recommend using a retinoid (preferably prescription strength). In addition to helping with any wrinkles, it can also significantly improve skin texture and tone (minimizing any discolorations). Although neither of these can be done/used during pregnancy.

Break the habit.. put some tape on your forehead where it would normally wrinkle. You will feel when you are doing it and it will help you make a conscious effort to help you do it less.

or botox.

I get botox. If you get it frequently enough you can get a deal on it. It's not an inexpensive option, but it works.

I've gotten into a very bad habit of lifting my eyebrows/shrugging my forehead whenever I wear my glasses. It keeps them from falling, I guess? Well all that lifting/shrugging is causing some serious forehead wrinkles.

Anyone have any suggestions for (reasonably priced) solutions to help reverse any further damage to my poor forehead?!
