My temps mysteriously dropped at 9dpo and never came back up. AF arrived 2 days early at 13 dpo. Shortest luteal phase I've ever had (hopefully not a sign of things to come) and lowest temps during the LP I've had as well. Weird cycle. I was really hopeful for this one so I was pretty bummed out this morning. My partner and I went on a long hike this afternoon around a beautiful lake with our dogs though, and I feel much better now. I'm trying to enjoy the spur of the moment things like that that'll be much harder to do once we do have kids. Here's to hoping for a BFP in early March! So sorry your donor moved away!! How stressful. I hated the 5 hour drive to our first donor. He seemed like a great guy, and in some ways matched what we were looking for in a donor a little more closely than our new donor, BUT the drive, timing, stress, and expense was killing us. I decided that character, intelligence, and personality were more important to me than looks, ethnicity, etc and that it might never happen with all the stress of the drive and missed work, etc. So that made the decision to switch donors fairly easy for us. Plus, I didn't know either of them personally, so it wasn't a loss there. </p> <p>To everyone else: Sorry the list is getting too long to tag everyone individually, but THANK YOU so much for the well wishes and encouragement!! I had no idea so many people would actually find this an interesting story. It's great to hear a few others who know people who have been successful this way. I've heard the stories, but it's always good to hear more! Makes me feel like it might actually happen for us! And yes, I will update as soon as I test in early February. I'm hoping to be able to hold out until AF is due around February 5th, but we will see. I'll be 10 DPO on Jan 31, so I technically could start testing this month. I have cheapie tests so I'm tempted, but might drive myself crazy if I get early BFNs.
