You should only take NSAIDS while you have your period when TTC. They have a negative effect on the lining of your uterus. So they could potentially cause spotting if there was an attempt to implant.

Yeah, I would stay away from those in the future. They are light blood thinners, which means that they can thin your lining. My guess is that could lead to spotting, but I am not sure.

I don't think they can, but I know you're supposed to have either out of your system for a few days before a surgery, so maybe? As for the m/c risk, don't worry about it this early, it will be out of your bloodstream by the time it can affect a pregnancy.

NSAIDS can delay ovulation. Not to totally freak you out, but there is a higher MC risk when taking them.

I started very lightly spotting Tuesday at 2 DPO, and am still very lightly spotting today at 4 DPO. It is a tiny amount, but I'm still analyzing and trying to figure out what it is from. At 2 DPO I thought maybe ovulation spotting, but I doubt that would continue for 3 days, even if it is super light. The only other thing I can think of is that I took Alieve Sunday night and Monday night and a super strength ibuprofen on Tuesday night for back pain. I know that Alieve and ibuprofen are not good during pregnancy, but thought I was OK since there is no way that anything could have implanted yet. Has anyone heard of either of these drugs causing spotting? Or have any other ideas of why I could be spotting this early?
