My son has the brown owl and my daughter has a light pink something. Maybe bear? They are both embroidered with their names which I love. Haha). Actually last night Wagon Jr. was playing with it and pulling back the ears and saying "look she has no ears" and DYING laughing. He did it like 20 times while we were getting LMW ready for bed. Plus he was nakey since he was waiting to get bathed himself. Not totally a fan of the cow pattern. I think I want something with good "nibble" ears. I just know that I use to nibble/pull on my comfort toy (pink mousie) when I was little, and I ultimately want this lovey for her soothing. Thinking a dog or bunny has good, floppy ears. As you probably know, WJ is very attached to his little lion blankie (and we have 4) so we knew we wanted to get one for LMW as well. Wagon Sr.'s only requirement was that it was one with its eyes closed, to encourage sleepiness... haha. And my requirement was that it was the color of the actual animal in real life (so no pink bear or pink lamb, etc). Plus, we wanted it to be very obviously different from the light beige / yellow lion blankie that WJ has. We went back and forth a LOT (I wanted it to be relatively girly, too) and FINALLY I decided on the dalmatian. It's white with grey spots. I'm so glad because the white and grey is really sweet and seems girlier than the lion, and LMW loves dogs!
