They discovered a DVT when she was in the hospital delivering her first. It was super scary for a couple weeks. The following pregnancy I know she was doing the daily injections and monitored by a high risk doctor and recently delivered their second. Hugs.</p> <p>I'll be honest, I don't think I could go forward with another pregnancy with something like that hanging over my head. I would be too scared to. Which is NOT to say I'm saying I think you shouldn't do it. Just that I don't think I personally would be able to face that. I feel like we always manage to beat the odds in the worst possible way. </p> <p>That being said, I really hope you're able to find some peace with however you choose to go. I had at least 2 miscarriages before starting Lovenox and getting pregnant with my son. My pregnancy was easy and uncomplicated. I hope yours is the same! I started Lovenox shots 1x a day, and am taking a baby aspirin to reduce clotting risks. I had a miscarriage in March 2014 and went into early labor with my son in November 2014 where he died in childbirth. I had a very large subchorionic hematoma with my son. I've googled APS and pregnancy and am now terrified to continue with this pregnancy. I'm so scared of losing another baby, and of something horrible happening to me (I have a 2.5 year old daughter who needs her mama).</p> <p>Any positive APS stories would be appreciated! </p>
