Early on Cobi liked sleeping in more confined spaces, because that's more similar to the womb. He would only sleep being held, or in his carseat. I think it was then dismissed as the hammocks were not used as directed but I think the damage to the brand was too late. Basically I think it comes down to common sense- same as using bumpers on cribs or co sleeping with your baby. Also if your baby has learnt to roll over they need an anti roll pillow in the hammock. I have just heard soooo many rave reviews about effective sleeping in the hammocks. I looked it up, cause it sounded cool and there were suffocation alerts from the gov't.
