How often and when do you brush LO's teeth? I brush hers e dry morning when I brush mine. DH is supposed to brush them at night during her bath but he more often than not forgets so I'll have to start doing it after her bath. I'm terrified of her having cavities!

Are you super serious about teeth brushing? When/how often do you brush their teeth? Do you use training toothpaste?

Massage a few times a day with a warm compress. Also, if you have it, squirt a little breastmilk into the eye for a few days. It works.

@soccermomma: the dr's first instructions were to boil water, cool it down, and then wet a cotton ball in it to wipe the gunk away. then use your finger to massage the inner corner of the eye. but that wasn't working so she prescribed the drops.

since your LO has a cold, maybe she has an eye infection? my older daughter has also had an eye infection that needed drops.

i've also seen some posters say to use some breastmilk on the eye but i didn't try that.

My 3 1/2 mo old LO has a blocked/clogged tear duct. It's a little crusty after she wakes up and runs a little bit while she's awake. I've been using a warm wash cloth to clean/wipe her eye. She's just getting over a little cold, and has been congested in her nose, does this contribute to the clogged tear duct?
Anyone's LO ever have a blocked tear duct? What did you do to remedy it, did you have to go to the dr.?
Thanks!

LO 6 month appointment was today and for the first time I'm not sad. LOs weight was still 5th percentile.. However his height was 25th percentile (previously had been 5th percentile). The doctor also showed us his adjusted age chart and his weight was 50th percentile and height was 90th percentile. My munchkin is growing!!!!

LO has had some pretty bad gas issues. Bicycling the legs works pretty well, but sometimes you have to bicycle for a while; and also bicycle several times a day; not just when they have the gas. Burping several times while feeding (even like after every 1oz.) Also pressing the legs against the chest sometimes works. Gripe water didn’t help us, but Pedia-Care gas drops do seem to help. We also give her a probiotic, which I think has helped some as well. Mostly; her digestive system just needed to grow/develop more, which just takes time. :/
