Our cushion doesn't stick out at all, so I'm not sure what's going on in the picture. Also, it's true that the little back cushion is useless. Other than that, we love our glider. One warning though... make sure to check the dimensions of the door to the room that you want to put it in. I didn't get the ottoman because I wanted to wait to see how badly I would need it, and as it turned out, I only nursed my LO for a couple of weeks and ended up exclusively pumping so I'm glad I didn't buy it. But I will say that some type of foot stool or ottoman is definitely necessary if you're planning on using the chair for breastfeeding. So the bottom cushion doesn't stick out as much as the picture, but it's not attached so it slides. Hmm... maybe that could be solved with some of that carpet base thing or some velcro. The back pillow thing doesn't bother me so much because I can always add a cute throw pillow. But if the slide/glide is good, that's the biggest factor! p.s. Did you get the ottoman? Some reviews say it doesn't work as well w/out it (and I was hoping not to get one). The gliding motion is very smooth and the fabric makes it super easy to clean BUT:</p> <p>- the back pillow/bolster is useless (the filling is made with something that basically molds to the shape of your back, which provides no support)</p> <p>- the bottom cushion does tend to slide out so that I often find myself pushing it back before I sit in it. It definitely doesn't jut out as much as the cushion shown in the picture. There isn't a Buy Buy Baby near us and there is one (I think it's the same one) at our BRU but the guy told us it's been tested so much it's kind of broken, so hard to judge how it glides. </p> <p>Any Babyletto Nara owners on here or anyone who tried it out?<br /> One concern I have is the bottom cushion on the Amazon picture looks like it sticks out a lot.
