Bump!! And for those that love it, do you wish you had the Pro (or are you glad you have the pro), or is the single good enough?

I got one for Christmas. I can't wait to start using it. I'm all about easy shortcuts while busy working outside the home.

Used it with my first child... She took purees for about 5 months. It was neat and I liked it... But when #2 came along and I wanted to give the water chamber a good scrubdown/cleaning... I wasn't able to. You can just steam clean it and I didn't like that so I chucked it! My second baby hated purees anyway and we did BLW pretty quick instead... So I vote against the Beaba overall!

I have the Baby Brezza, which I think is similar to the Babycook, and I love it!! I pretty much made all of LO's purees, and it was super easy :)

I have a friend who has one and she LOVES hers. I don't, I just use my magic bullet, and honestly that (for me) doesn't seem to be any more inconvenient. I just commit an hour or so on Sunday afternoon and make a bunch of food. Usually I only have to do that once every other week. I generally microwave steam the veggies so it's just one dish, very little mess. For the short time that we would be using it we didn't find it necessary, but we're on a pretty tight budget with DH being a student so I can rationalize anything that saves us money ;-)

I love mine! I know you can get the same results with a big steam pot and a food processor but that is way too many dishes. What I love about the Beaba is that I can throw some stuff in there while I'm cooking dinner or doing other things, and then puree in the same container, put in the storage containers, rinse and start over. I made two batches of butternut squash tonight while making dinner. No way would I have even attempted that on a weeknight without the Beaba.

I have a food processor but it's big and bulky. This is small and sits on our countertop all the time. It is one of my favorite baby items and I can see myself using this until LO is fully on table food. It was definitely worth the money to me!

I thought it was convenient to be able to steam and then puree in one appliance, but looking back it is not something I would buy again. I used it a lot with DD, but not much at all with DS since he moved to finger foods very quickly. A food processor is probably more useful. If you are really interested, you could look for a used one. They hold up really well and I even loaned mine out between kids.

I was wondering if anyone had the Beaba Babycook and if so, what are your thoughts on it??

I'm considering getting one in a month or so, but at $120 I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Thanks in advance! :)
