We do use the biodegradable inserts regularly enough. But they don't work as well overnight as your typical disposable. The disposable inserts are biodegradable. I used them on both of my LOs and we never had diaper rash issues. So soft. They're from Denmark and very eco-conscious. I must have gotten a great deal on the first bags I bought because every time I tried to buy more they were super expensive. We switched to other options since I didn't want to spend that much. </p> <p>Another possibility is layering a disposable insert (like gdiaper or flip) over a prefold or something. It just seems best for my diaper rash prone DD. Since my son was born, a lot of biodegradable diapers have hit the market. I've tried a couple of brands with DD, but haven't been impressed.
