I practiced relaxation techniques to make it easier to get through contractions. They helped A LOT. If I let my concentration wander during a contraction instead of focusing on breathing and relaxing my body and face, it was definitely more painful.

With my first LO, I kept walking as much as I could, he was born at 39+4.
With LO2, she came unexpectedly at 37+2, so while I didn't exactly plan to do anything other than walk a lot like LO1, I didn't have time!

Did you do anything "special" to prep for labour in the last few weeks before your due date?

So far I've been taking EPO twice a day (about to add a third dose) and I'm about to start on the Raspberry Leaf Tea on Monday when I hit 38 weeks. I'm also trying to sit correctly and get out walking every evening.

I didn't really do anything during my first pregnancy and didn't go into labour until 41 weeks but I'm not sure if I'll have the luxury of going really overdue due to my GD this time around.

I'd love to read what other ladies have done!
