I'm a 34 DD/DDD (who knows what my saggy deflated post nursing two kids boobs are now, lol), and I realized when I was on a bra hunt once that I do not like demi bras; I like full coverage. So I liked all the Victoria Secret bras I got when they had deals/sales.

Fantasie bras. I usually get them at Nordstrom after I get measured and confirm my bust size. It’s been so cold though that I bought the same ones (I hope) on Amazon. The style I get are about $50 a piece and last for years with regular rotation and hand washing.

Victoria Secret's semi annual sale, I'm embarrassed to say I haven't bought a new bra in over 5 years, so yesterday I bought 5, they were all 20-25 a piece. they will measure you in store, I bought Full Coverage Body of Victoria, I like them a lot. I'm a 36DDD, so I know about needing coverage, and these seem the best for me.

When I was in the same situation (post nursing, teacher budget, etc), I just ordered 5-6 on Amazon Prime to determine sizing and style, used their free returns, and got about 5-6 more. This is what I kept, they're all $12-$30 except the last one:

My only regret was not buying one more, neutral-color T-shirt style bra...... but after two years of boring nursing bras I wanted ones that were more fun :)

A 34C/D here, and surprisingly, I’ve really liked my Gap Body bras recently. They have some lined Demis that are supportive without being too matronly, and it’s not a place I would have thought to look before.

I liked Soma for a cheaper price point than Nordstrom. I wore those while nursing, and then for about a year post-nursing while things re-settled  I do think you get what you pay for: my Soma bras don't last as long as my Nordstrom bras did. The Soma literally fell apart after a year. But it was good while it lasted!

Soma! I am a 34DD and they fit great. Good support and they’re very affordable. I usually get the one that is pretty full coverage and no padding. I like underwire bras to support the ladies. I wore their nursing bras too (I still wear them post nursing).

I had a great bra-fitting experience at Nordstrom so I’m sure it totally depends on who’s helping you. The saleswoman who helped me brought me colors that were flattering for my skin tone, tried to pull from the sales rack, and brought me other options at different price points. I was really pleased, and I ended up with a couple Natori bras (not the feathers style—she told me those usually only go on sale at the Anniversary sale) and a Betsey Johnson, I think. Most of what she brought in for me I probably wouldn’t have chosen off the rack myself so that was definitely a time when it was helpful to have an “expert”’s help.

Natori Feathers. They're expensive but you can get them on sale from Nordstrom. It's the perfect bra: not too much padding but no nips, super supportive, incredibly flattering, and hold up. Also they come in all the weird sizes!

@meadow: I actually really enjoy Warner bras from Kohl's. Same price range. I'm a 36D. I buy a few every 6 months or so, and rotate some out. visibly they hold up great, I just think the elastic begins to wear out.

I bought VS bras for years at a much more steep price and they literally wore out very quickly (broke) and were not nearly as supportive.

Do you have a Dillards close by? I like the On Gossamer brand, but bra fit is so subjective. Tomorrow is Dillards 50% off clearance sale and it is a great day to shop for cheap bras. You'll mostly find weird colors but you can try out some good brands and see what you like for a cheap price and then splash out on basic colors. But I'll second that getting fitted is super important - I thought I was an A for years but turns out I was a D.

I love wacoal bras - generally full coverage. But the biggest thing is to get measured. I have the best luck at smaller specialty stores (both in how accurately they measure and what they have available in my size.) Though when I was a DD I had good luck at Nordstrom - a little more hit or miss on the people but good selection of bras.

It's really important to find an accurate size. When I bought new bras this summer it was a mess - maidenform tried to tell me I was a C, which I haven't been since middle school, Macy's measured me accurately but had no bras in my size in the store, Nordstrom measured me pretty well but only had two in my size to try on, but the local place near me did a great fitting and had over 20 for me to try on. Even when you know your size different cuts will all fit differently. So really important to find someone who can help asses fit.

Do you have a Macy’s near you? Or Nordstrom? I’ve always gotten measured by the ancient and lovely women at Macy’s and they have always given great recommendations and selection. I love Calvin Klein bras myself, but I’m an A cup so can’t speak to how they fit/support for larger sizes.

So I have never been a big spender on bras. My go to for the last several years have been Maidenform bras that I bought at Kohls when they had a BOGO or BOGO half off type sale....so I would spend about 20 - 30 dollars per bra.

I am feeling like my post-nursing saggy/sorry looking boobs might need a different bra. I guess I look okay in my everyday clothes......but I think the support could be better......

I am a high school teacher - so I'm not looking for anything that makes my boobs look like "wow wow" if you know what I mean......

I am not looking to spend a ton - but wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good supportive bra. I'd prefer not a turtleneck bra - but it doesn't have to be super sexy either. Full coverage bras are okay.

I've thought about venturing into the "third love" world - but they seem so expensive....

I'm a 34D or 34DD - so support is important.

TIA!

Not too tight/athletic. I have built-ins for working out but want a looser material to wear while hanging around the house with the family. Ideas?
