I was a 34DDD pre-pregnancy and I really wanted to like the Silk. I bought 2 sizes, but the problem for me is the S/M/L sizing. If I bought the medium I was spilling out of the cups, but with the large the band was so big that it gave me no support.

This is the bra I found near the end of pregnancy and have been wearing through almost 8 months of breastfeeding. It's not my favorite bra in the world, but it gives me the most support out of any of the nursing bras I've tried, minimizes without affecting milk production, and is reasonably comfortable to wear all day everyday.

Pre pregnancy I was a 32/34 DD and I found the bravado silk to be very supportive and super comfortable! I had to force myself to stop wearing them well after nursing was over.

I am about your size, and I wore these
http://www.bravadodesigns.com/mobile/the-original-nursing-bra-plus-style
around the house and for quick errands. I also had this bra
http://www.mommygear.com/goddess-keira-nursing-bra.htm
It was less comfortable, but no underwear and great for when you need real support.
I should add, it wasn't UNcomfortable, it was just more structured.

I wear Bravado bras and I love them! I'm a 34 F and I find they are supportive and comfortable. I'm not sure about the silk one, as I think I use the regular wireless they sell. It comes in a size F/G

@MrsKoala: I have been fitted and I've tried on countless bras (pre preg) and I always hate them. They are so thick on the side there is always so much fabric and wire. It's honestly so exhausting trying to find a comfortable bra.

@BabyPenguinXO: I had two of these when I was nursing LO, size xl. They were super comfortable but do not give much support or any shaping. I did like the nip coverage from the foam cups. But after nursing you need to double check the cups because they sometimes gets bunched up or folded and make your boobs look lumpy :silly:

That being said, Hot Milk has bras without underwire in larger sizes. They really don't lift much though.

It is really difficult to find a bra with good support without underwire, nursing or otherwise. What about underwire doesn't work for you? Have you been properly fitted for a bra? Underwire shouldn't dig in with the right size.

@BabyPenguinXO: I'm about a 34DD pre-pregnancy and the silk seemless are more like weekend in house/sleeping bras. Not much support and shaping for me.

I have several Cake nursing bras that I wore after maternity leave and have continued to wear through-out this pregnancy and will probably wear at least another year. I think I'll buy a few new pretty ones.
I have one like this:
https://www.cakematernity.com/nursing-bras/non-wire/creme-brulee-bra

And a few that are kinda like this, but in a style that doesn't seem to be offered now:
https://www.cakematernity.com/nursing-bras/non-wire/plum-melba

Good support, cover nips fairly well (it's hard to find nursing bras that are awesome at this because then the cups are hard to fold down to nurse), do give me semi-uni-boob.
Ok, i wrote this and see they don't have your size. Sorry, maybe a band extender would help them work

I want to go ahead and order a nursing bra or two to have when baby gets here. My best bet is ordering online cause I'm predicted to need a 42F according to being fitted at motherhood and the estimation of my milk coming in. I had a bra that size for my son and I hated the Bra though the size seemed appropriate. I got rid of them cause i hated them and ended up wearing sleep bras for my short nursing period.

Can anyone with large ladies attest to the support/shape? I like that they have removeable foam insert cups. Love that it will cover my nips! I also like that its a 3 hook bra to help smooth out the back!

Just wondering if it will provide some perk and shape with the cups. I'm really struggling to find good shapely bras for 42F and I'm not crazy about underwire. I don't have good fitting pre pregnancy bras either. I'm a SAHM and I broke into my nursing tanks which is what I wear for support around the house now. I just want something to cover the nippage better and a little more shape/lift.

ETA: NO UNDERWIRE! I simply cannot do underwire. I dunno what it is.. but I have tried sooooooooo many bras and it never fails any bra even pre preg dug into me. I have some for special occasions where I'm trying to really make sure my girls look good. But otherwise, I just cannot do underwire. I've given up on it!
