<description>&#60;p&#62;I agree - you have to make sure it's in the right spot.  Also, there were a lot of times when I had to use some lanolin while pumping to help with the rubbing.  I also ended up needing the smallest size shield.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I started pumping 1x/day two weeks ago to help build up a little stash before returning to work (already have 135 oz, yay!). I already got the next size breast shield (27) because I was having so much breast pain that I thought I had thrush, even though neither LO or I had any other symptoms. The breast pain has gotten much better since switching, but not completely gone. My question is when you are getting set up to pump, do you have to be really precise about how you place the shield so there's no nipple rubbing? I have to adjust several times through a 10-15 min pump so that one part of my nipple isn't rubbing. Wondering if I need the next size or if that's normal.
