Mine didn't grow at all during pregnancy. And did grow very little afterwards, not enough for me to have to wear a new bra size. But I am still nursing and we are doing fine. I did have to supplement for the first month but after that I've had a good supply.

Mine didn't grow much in pregnancy. I went from a nearly B to a 'holy crap, those are HUGE' during engorgement for a week, now at 3 weeks post partum I'm probably about a B/C.

I think this is one of those things that you can't really pin point as "how things happen." Sort of like birth.
I started my first pregnancy as an F, they didn't grow during pregnancy and they didn't really get engorged, but when I weaned my son (two years later) they were a G.
They are still a G now at 36 weeks pregnant. No idea what will happen when this one is born. Hopefully not get too much bigger because I'd really like to not have to buy new nursing bras!

@lilteacherbee: Almost the same here. Mine also didn't grow much during my first pregnancy and I was also already a C. When my milk came in they grew gradually till G and I don't know what felt worse: oversupply or not being able to find a fitting bra. I had to wean at 12 ½ month and 12 weeks pregnant and they got smaller than pre-pregnancy. They stayed smaller till around 25 weeks and now at 36 weeks they're also huge again, like after I had DS. Let's hope they won't grow that much again after my milk comes in this time around!

I wanted to add: my mom had really small boobs that grew to a F while nursing me (for only 6 weeks) and stayed a D afterwards.

Mine did grow a lot during pregnancy, but then still grew at least a size or more when my milk came in. I actually never got stretch marks during pregnancy but did on my boobs when the milk came in! (Light and they faded quickly).

They gradually got smaller as she nursed less, by the end they were about pre preg size but softer and flatter. But I got pregnant as she was weaker and they went right to full. At 16 weeks they definitely aren't as big as they were at this point last time.

So yeah, all over the place here too.

Mine didn't grow much (maybe a tinyyy bit) during my first pregnancy, but I was already a C. When my milk came in, they got big FAST (I got a few stretch marks but they've completely faded now). When I weaned at 13 months, they got smaller than pre-pregnancy (maybe a B), but I was also newly pregnant with this one. Now, I'm 35 weeks with #2 and they're huge again, like after I had the baby huge with #1.

So basically, all over the place!

I think you will see a lot of variety here, but for me, my breasts didn't grow or have any noticeable changes during pregnancy, and my milk never really "came in" and I had chronic low supply for the 19 months I breastfed.

I'm not saying that to scare you! Low supply is rare. But that was my experience. I never had any pain or engorgement.

I started at a small A to probably a B when my milk came in. It didn't hurt cuz it was kind of gradual since u start out producing less. But engorgement was uncomfortable! And sadly after nursing/pumping my boobs are smaller than I started. Like probably AA. Womp womp

My first pregnancy my boobs didn't grow at all (stayed a small B) and I was so nervous I wouldn't have any milk! Right after I gave birth they turned into massive porn star boobs lol. It hurt somewhat bc they grew so quickly and the wngorgement made it worse. But it wasn't too bad! After weaning they went right back down to the size that once were.

How much bigger did they get when your milk came in, and didn't it hurt!? Seems like if they grow so fast so quick that would totally suck!

I'm also assuming if they don't grow during pregnancy that they probably will go back down to normal size after you stop nursing. True?

I'm almost 35 weeks and still an A cup! Just wondering! :)

I assume you're asking as a TWW symptom. My breasts got very render every cycle, especially on the sides. The cycle I got my BFP, they were sore and a bit tingling all over, especially right under the nipple. It hurt to take a shower.

I also get massive tingling during letdown, but that's a whole other topic.

I didn't have changes like you described but I did have pain and swelling. I mentioned it to my doctors just in case. They sent me for an ultrasound and ultimately to a breast surgeon. If you're concerned there's nothing wrong with mentioning it :-)

ETA - My changes are probably hormonal due to the pregnancy.

At about 10-11 weeks, my breasts had grown so full and tender, and I think my actual ribcage area grew too. All my regular size 34B bras were SOOO uncomfortable and tight! I went out and bought 3 new bras in size 34C and 36C.
Now at 15 weeks, I can comfortably fit back into my regular 34B and the 34C bra, but it seems like "the girls" have shrunk back to normal size!

Did that happen to anyone else? I've only heard of them getting bigger throughout the pregnancy, not going back down? Not a big deal, just wondering if it's normal. TIA!
