We have a britax boulevard clicktight as well and I usually put it one or two positions more reclined than I think is necessary bc the angle does change due to the seats sloping as @MamaBear87: said. I watched a video that showed reclining the back seat as much as possible if able and moving the front seat forward as much as possible and then installing the seat. So you stand in the car with your belly against the back of the car seat pushing in while clicking the seat belt and pushing down on the seat, then bring the back seat back up into the upright position. I get a rock solid install every single time doing it that way. It’s amazing. I will never use latch with these seats bc the clicktight seatbelt installation is so so good.

@meadow: yah no way I would use latch that’s the best part about clicktight!

ETA my husband and I both agree we will only buy clicktight from now on it is absolutely worth the money and has literally made moving car seats beyond painless

@meadow: I would be very hesitant to install with the latch with the clicktight seats. They were designed specifically for easy seat belt install and only included lower anchors because they were legally required to. It is very easy to damage the clicktight panel when uninstalling if you have used the latch.

@SweetiePie: I think it's more that whatever setting you pick it will look more reclined before it's tightened. That's pretty common of all seats.

We also have a click tight Boulevard. Install always alters the recline a bit because the seat slopes.

I'd pull them out and adjust the incline if you think your littles will be uncomfortable. Make sure the level bubble thing is at the correct area for a toddler. And I would install with the seatbelt, it's insanely easy and zero reason to use the harder install with the latch in my opinion. The easy seatbelt install was one of the huge reasons I went with this seat

@meadow: Maybe I’m wrong or misunderstanding but I don’t think how tight the install is should impact how upright the seat is, especially if it’s an adjustable incline.
Like if the install is changing the incline, I would wonder if it’s correct?

Full disclosure I am far from a car seat expert aside from installing ours over and over. Maybe post a pic? Or ask car seats for Little’s on Facebook?

Oh and if you have them super upright any time they fall asleep in the car their heads will fall straight forward which always looks so sad and uncomfortable to me! Might as well have them more reclined to prevent that since you can.

@meadow: I would definitely fix it since it's a clicktight! Shouldn't be too tough. Make sure you unbuckle the seat belt before trying to turn the dial, it's much easier that way.

@meadow: Okay, so 7 recline options. As long as the indicator is in the rear facing section you are fine, and for an 18 month old it can definitely be pretty upright - but it doesn't have to be upright. It's all about preference, what your kid likes, and how much space you want to seat to take up in the car. Before installing always recline more than you think you will need because installation will make it change.

@catgirl: clicktight......so yes many options. We had it in tbe middle, then all the tightening made it fully upright. DH said leave it & I think it seems too upright.....

We have to redo the install to change the recline, so looking for input before in push the issue....haha

@meadow: do you have the G4 or clicktight boulevard? The clicktight a have a ton of recline options so very easy to change. The G4 only has one rear facing recline (and two forward facing). If it's a G4 I would make sure it is on the rear facing recline - which is position 3. If it's on the right setting try to install while pushing where lo's bottom would go, that can manipulate the seat a bit. But it will still be relatively upright, especially depending on the slope of your seats.

We installed our britax boulevard car seats last night .... rear facing. They are basically vertical, bo recline. My husband says that's right because the twins are toddlers. I think it just looks really awkward and that it will be hard to buckle them in.

Any advice from others who use this car seat? Thanks!!!!!

I have the Britax B Agile stroller, and I *think* I want to get a glider board for my 3.5 year old (we also have an 8 month old). We like to go on walks and explore the city, and our oldest is good for a while, but he gets a bit whiney and complains about walking sometimes, so I'm wondering if this might help. I see that there's a specific Britax version of the glider board -- is that my only option? Can I use a different brand? Anyone have experience with glider boards for this stroller that can give me tips?

I have the B Agile and I like it. I wish it handled uneven pavement a little better. Our sidewalks are terrible and sporadic and until I got my walking route perfected I got stuck a lot (so LO got jerked forward a lot). I posted about it on here before and nobody seemed to echo the issue so it may just be the way I push.

@MrsLilybugg: people will always find things to judge! But I went running with a friend who had a jogging stroller and she struggled with hers the whole time while I was able to hold on and steer with one hand....so I don't care ;) at my fastest I'm a 12 minute mile, so you should be fine! I wouldn't use it on any unpaved surfaces but it's great on paved trails and the sidewalk!
