I don't know the specifics but she mentioned something about how jumpers cause the babies to put too much pressure on their toes, which isn't natural and is bad for development. She said they're ok as long as your baby doesn't spend too much time on it (no more than 10 minutes at a time, a few times a day). If you're going to use it sparingly, it should be ok though!
