Yes, they have them out. We got one for our older daughter this weekend. It's not snozu brand though. She's beyond toddler sizing though too. I was surprised at how thin/light it was. Ours is Gerry brand (29.99) And the Snozu is $19.99

I haven't heard of these- my daughter just gets a fleece for sitting in her car seat. I didn't know this was an option. Definitely going to keep my eyes peeled for these when we shop for coats.

I saw snozu ones yesterday. The vests looked thin enough. I thought the jackets were thin too, but they appeared to run large. There were only a few color choices: black with orange, teal with lavender, and pink.

I was also looking at some ultra light down jackets online at Zara and h&m. Better color choices and good prices too.

@peaches1038: Carseat lady says it's safe for the super thin down jackets.

http://thecarseatlady.com/warmandsafe/

Super Thin Down: Some of the REALLY thin down jackets will also work so long as they are thin AND properly sized for your child.

Although, I heard Car Seat Lady is not CSPT.

I did check on Car Seat for Littles (group of CSPT) FB group and when I did a search I found a comment that said that the thin down coats are USUALLY safe for car seats. (They said they can't comment on every kid and car seat because it's based on fit.)

Oh, the one of the comment mentioned that the Snozu was said to be car seat safe. Not sure if the link below is the one in question. (I guess they can't say all Snozu jackets are safe because Snozu makes regular jackets, too.)

http://www.costco.com/Snozu-Boys'-Glacier-Shield-Quilted-Jacket.product.100281537.html

I found this link, too. http://csftl.org/hello-winter-good-bye-coats/
*****This link is great. Gives some great suggestions and alternatives to winter coats. I might be looking for a car seat poncho.

Which one? I was looking last weekend at some that were $20 or $30 but they didn't seem car seat safe to me.

Has anyone seen the thin down jackets at costco that are car seat safe yet this year? My friend has a membership and I don't want to bug her to take me unless I know they're there. Oh and anyone know the price?
