@littlek - Not really. I've been trying to stretch it when I'm away from my desk - walking to/from the bathroom, reviewing documents, etc. It doesn't seem to be helping much though.

@autumnlove - That's basically what I wore before. It could be tendinitis too. I had it in my foot over the summer. I'm too young for this, LOL! I might try taking an OTC Naproxen and see if that helps.

:-( Yuck, carpal and tendinitis suck!

I had wrist issues that started about a month before I gave birth and lasted 7 months post partum. My Dr prescribed wrist guards, Naproxen for inflammation and I did stretches a few times a day.

I am 27 weeks pregnant and my wrists started hurting the other day! I'm wearing these right now!

During the summer of 2005, I noticed that my right hand/wrist fell asleep a lot more than usual. The pain soon followed. I went to my doctor and was told it was carpal tunnel, likely caused by waitressing (I was chopping/prepping foods daily). I was given a splint/brace to wear for a couple weeks and have been fine ever since.

In the last couple weeks, it's all started back up. Same as before. My hand/wrist was falling asleep more than usual. Then the tingles and numbness started. This week it's gotten worse. I notice it when I'm putting my makeup on in the morning. At work, the tingles and numbness moves up my arm. It's 11:15am and I already feel it up to my forearm.

Luckily I still have the splint/brace at my parents and my mom is mailing it to me. In the meantime, I'm wondering if there's anything else I can do to help. A friend recommended some stretching exercises (forward/backward stretches basically). Ibuprofen hasn't seemed to help. Unfortunately, I'm at a computer all day which is only making things worse.
