What was your cervical mucus like while on Clomid?

I have read that many women experience dryness. I am on CD18 of my first cycle of Clomid (50 mg, days 3-7) and have been surprised to have the opposite happen. I normally have EWCM for one or two days at ovulation then little spells of creamy CM until AF. This cycle has been lots of EWCM at ovulation and now an abundance of creamy CM.

If you had the same thing happen to you...did it continue in the future Clomid medicated cycles? I am just curious what to expect since I am new to all of this. Thanks.

It's SO light, i wouldn't even have noticed it if i wasn't really looking. like VERY light pinkish brown. i mentioned it when i called to make an appointment this morning (she actually asked if i had had any spotting) but the woman at the office didn't seem concerned.

If you call in they will likely tell you not to worry unless you have cramping or heavy bleeding. This early they can't do an ultrasound or anything so it's sort of a wait and see approach. I had spotting that came before a miscarriage, and I had spotting that happened throughout my successful pregnancy with a healthy baby so there's really no way to say what's going on. I would just rest and keep an eye on things and call your doctor if things get worse.

also, I don't have my first appointment until the end of the month.

I would prob treat that temp the way I would if I was drinking- record it, but put a note and in this case, check fever in specifics, then if it is an anomaly a few days later (like no other temps went up) I would check discard. One high temp after o shouldn't make a difference anyway.
I suck at cm charting. I do what @lawbee11: does, but I have a harder time with it when there is a lot of bding happening.

Do you use Fertility Friend? In the "Specifics" section you can add that you have a fever. I've never done that so I don't know how it'll affect your chart, but maybe try it and see what happens.

I only chart CM when it's visible (either in my underwear or on the toilet paper).

Last night I was feeling kind of crummy, and my temp registered at 99.3. Do you take a low-grade fever like this into consideration when charting? I'm now 6 dpo, and my morning temp was 98.5.

Also, I've been experiencing a down-there sensation where I expect to see CM, but when I go to check, there is nothing. Does anyone else experience this? Do you chart only what is externally visible?

About 7dpo I got a small bit of brown cervical mucus that lasted about half a day. I googled around to find that it could due to implantation bleeding or just some old blood left from a past period so when it went away I stopped caring about it.

Then today (13dpo), the day I should've gotten my period, I got brown CM again (although this time heavier than before). I sometimes get a tiny bit right before my period starts (within an hr or two) but I haven't gotten my period all day. Obviously if my period comes in a day or two it will make sense, but what if I just have brown mucus without a period?

Has anyone else dealt with this, and if so, what was the outcome? Sorry if TMI!

So, it's been almost 5 weeks since my miscarriage and I just a new cycle. I had a lot of conflict about it and really had a sucky night of sleep, but the good news is, we are moving on. Now, we just have to wait two more cycles and then we can start trying again.

@jennimac: I think I was maybe off by around a week? It was really close to my original cycle date though. Like if I O'd on the first of the month, I think after my miscarraiges, I O'd like on the 4th of the month. I was actually surprised that my body rebounded that quickly. After both miscarriages, I got pregnant the 2nd cycle! :)

@banana: that's what I was thinking, but I have no idea when I might start. Like, I'm not temping or anything. so, right when you should have started if you weren't pregnant, you started?

I guess what I'll do is probably note this in FF and then wait a couple of weeks and see if I actually start. If not, then I'll be able to ask my doctor about it. I'm hoping I return back to normally pretty quickly because my cycles were very regular and not too long, so the waiting could go by quickly. We have to wait 2 cycles and then we can start trying again.

So, my bleeding has finally stopped and now I"m noticing what looks like cervical mucus that I would usually be on the look out for during ovuluation. Is it that or is too soon? It will be 1 month on Thursday from our delivery. I go back to my doctor on May 16, but I'm not really sure what the time period is that I should be looking for my first cycle post MC.
