We got this dresser along with the changing station attachment. We love it! It's a little big but fits nicely in her room and I love that it will last her for years and years. My husband is 6'6" and while I haven't specifically asked him he's never mentioned beig uncomfortable bending to change a diaper.

We just got a regular dresser from a furniture store nearby and keep a changing pad on top with a basket of other diaper supplies. We keep diapers in one of the drawers. We are a couple inches shorter than you but the height has been fine. Good luck shopping and have fun!

Wondering if you've got recommendations for a dresser for the nursery! Especially one that can double as a dresser, as one less piece of furniture is appealing. :) DH and I are fairly tall (5'9" and 5'11")so would love input on height of the dresser and bending over it all them time etc.,

We're registering at BRU and Amazon so any recc's could be added to the latter! Thanks!

@looch: I think I can install a bar from the wall behind the changing table. Thanks for the idea!

What about hanging something from the wall? I have this on the towel bar over my changing table (in the bathroom). I have toothbrushes, hair combs, tubes of cream and diapers in the pockets. I have to restock the diapers throughout the day, but it works.

@Mrs. Yoyo: :( We don't have the space. I think I might get one of those shoe organizer things that hang from the rod in your closet, and re-sew the top to hang off the side of the changing table.
I have less than a foot before the changing table hits the window (and it has shelves in back, behind it, but they are inconvenient so I use them for more long-term storage like extra wipes. I want to be able to access that when I need it, so I want something cloth or ... flimsier than wood/plastic.

But, I do love my plastic drawers for my own stuff in my closet. :)
Thanks!

We just use a little 3-drawer plastic organizer bin. Works like a charm if you have the space.

How do you organize your diapers?
Now that his diapers are bigger, we need more space!

You know how some pack n plays have a cloth shelf that hangs off the side for organizing diapers and changing supplies? Do you know where I can buy one or how I can make one for a free standing changing table (wooden, not a pack n play)?

I am thinking of:

We had a changing pad on the living floor in the corner with an Ikea storage box filled with wipes, diapers, and cream. We had a second set in the nursery. Now that baby is a little bit bigger (just shy of 4 months), I just take her to her room every time. The changing pad we had in the living room is now at my mom's place.

I use to diaper my LO in my bedroom and living room but I got tired of having diaper supplies everywhere. I was also tired of bending down and changing her on low platforms. Once I started using her changing station, I wondered why it took me so long. Since then, we've only use the changing station.

That's a good question.
We won;t have a traditional changing table, but we will have a pad on top on a short dresser, so supplies will be in the top few drawers and under the crib.

I had a supply of wipes and diapers in the living room, baby's room, and my room. Those were pretty much always the places I ended up changing DS. In his room though I had a basket with all the diaper creams and stuff if I needed them.

This is a spin off from a previous post-
Some people indicated that they didn't have a changing table. But more surprising to me, was how many people don't even have a dedicated changing spot. They just changed wherever it was convenient.

For those of you who changed in various places around the house, where did you keep your supplies? Did you have a tote or just wipes, cream and diapers in every room?
