@Ajsmommy: Oh I'm so happy!!!! It is really such a treasured, affordable memento. I'm not an autograph person but because I'm a book person, it made it that much more fun.

@Charm54: honestly it was way easier than I anticipated! I made sure to keep snacks and drinks / bottles handy and kept him fed and hydrated. I also made sure to know where the baby care centers were and we used them for some down time..

Ds took short naps during shows and while we waited or walked in the carrier (frozen ever after in hs, lion king in animal kingdom, waiting on line in mk)

My advice is to try not to stress.

@Ajsmommy: I don't know, I love BOG :). I only did it for dinner, but I think since breakfast is more of a counter service type thing, you'd get a slightly different experience. If you got BOG breakfast before park opening, I'd keep it. If you're going to eat (haha) into prime morning touring time, I'd skip it. Since they have different rooms, you can pick where you sit for breakfast and then ask if it would be possible to wait for a table in a different section if they try to seat you in the same one you did at breakfast again.

I would skip the West Wing, or ask for another table if they send you there at dinner. It's dark and lighting strikes and may be a little scary for littles.

Beast when we went just walked through the dining room, and you could get pics with him on the way out. You could totally skip it if you think DD might be too scared, but he doesn't talk or anything, he's just tall. My DD was a little intimidated (she was about to turn 3 when we went), but still got pics as long as she didn't have to stand right next to him.

Congrats on your trip, it sounds amazing!

@Ajsmommy: Ive never done breakfast. Dinner was good, the actual service was pretty quick. Its just the waiting for your table (I think it was maybe a 15-20 min wait once we showed up and checked in at our reservation time). The actual dining length was about the length of a normal restaurant dinner. Plus then getting paid and out of there and then doing pictures with the beast. So yes, 2 hours unless you add a bunch of extras like appetizers and desserts or just eat really slowly.

@T.H.O.U.: i was thinking two bog might be overkill but it's hard to pass up the experience... how long do you think the meals take? 2 hrs each?? I thought breakfast would be a little faster maybe??

@Ajsmommy: Great reservations! If you plan ahead and book early they usually make it pretty easy!

I dont think the Beast goes around to many tables at dinner. I think he may walk into each dining room and then you take pictures with him on your way out. He doesn't talk or anything. Very calm (because he is huge, about 8ft) so him and his handler move very slowly. I didn't' think it was scary at all.

However, as much as I love BOG, I dont know that I would want to tie up that much time eating there twice in one day.

@Ajsmommy: we were at WDW Sept 2016 and had an amazing time.

My top takeaways were

-give yourself extra time to get to the parks even if you are staying on site
-They will give you free ice water in a cup but it tastes a little funny, so we brought personal Brita filtered bottles
-Akershus at Epcot is the best Princess Breakfast
- if you are willing to get to the parks for open time, use that opportunity to head to the busy attractions that tend to fill up as the day goes on.
We ended up never booking a FastPass before 11:30am for this reason

* the memory maker was also a very handy add on and gave us some amazing pics

A new transportation option that looks really awesome!! "Minnie vans"...they take you door to door for $20 and come included with 2 car seats. I can see us using this option to go to our Ohana Dinner which takes a while via bus&monorail, or Disney Springs (where the buses are notoriously slow).

@Ajsmommy: yes you will get an allotment for the whole stay and you are free to use them as you want. We often get a quick service meal our first night so that we can "double up" on table services another day.

At the bottom of every receipt you will see how many meals (credits) you have remaining for your stay. Be sure to check them as they did make a couple of errors last trip that I had to have fixed.

@Charm54: and anyone else with meal plan. K knowledge --- if we get the deluxe plan we "get" three table service meals a day. Is it set up so that you can ONLY USE three per day? Or can you use more one day and less another day.

For example if we did Cinderellas table (2), for breakfast and then another place for lunch (1) and dinner (1) that's 4 in one day..can we do that and. Just lose 1 from another day?

@Ajsmommy: we are renting points and getting the meal plan. The person you are renting from has to add the plan (and your magical express). Everything (park tickets, room key, fastpasses, dining reservations, meal plan credits, magical express info, photopass) will be linked to your reservation # and your magic bands.

When your rental company gives you your reservation number, put it in the My Disney Experience site/app and everything will sync up. After you've done that, you can customize your magic bands for each member of your party.

As for tipping, after your meal they will give you a receipt with how much your meal would have cost had you paid out of pocket, plus any additional expenses (extra alcoholic drinks, appetizers, whatever). They then have suggested tip amounts based on the total value of your meal. You can charge it to your room, pay cash, or credit. We put everything on our magic band so we literally don't have to carry a wallet! It can get dangerous to just tap tap for everything though haha

Cinderellas Castle is 2 credits no matter the meal. If you want Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you should book that as soon as possible (180 days prior). You can time it to have a meal at C's castle right afterwards for a super magical experience! They are in the same building.

I didn't read through ALL the posts, and it looks like you've gotten some great recommendatoins and information. My only additional tip was to use Kenny the Pirate (www.kennythepirate.com) for character meet and greets. He tells you what characters will be where at what time and when is the best time to meet them with the least amount of wait time.
