I would do dark blue jeans with a dark green that matched the little dot's on dd's dress.

My DH would never wear this, lol, but would look adorable with you and DD:

I would add a pattern. Maybe jeans and a button down with a navy/red plaid.

Dark chambray button up, ochre colored chinos. Basically what I make my husband wear every year. 😂

We're planning our annual family photo shoot, tentatively scheduled for Nov. 18. We're going to a local botanical garden that has a coniferous garden to hopefully give us that "Christmas" look despite it otherwise being a beautiful display of Fall colors right now.

If all goes well with our NIPT (Nov 22) and the photo shoot, the plan is to use our cards and these photos to announce our pregnancy.

I have a dress for DD (2.5), and a probable dress for me (I'll wear some kind of red)... the question is - what do I put DH in? Goal is relaxed look, not too fussy or formal.

Thanks!

A girl I know is a photographer, but I think she's only been doing it for a few years, but I've seen a marked improvement since I've been following her pro photos on FB. And her prices look very affordable. Here's a link to her site:

http://personalportraitsbystephanie.zenfolio.com/

ETA: here's her pro. facebook page:

I'm looking for a photographer to do a photo shoot with my daughter for her first birthday in September. Just some outdoor shots, maybe some cake smashing and hubs and I would like to get in for a few family shots. Ideally we'd also be able to capture a good pic to use on our christmas card.

I've reached out to a few photographers that were recommended and i feel like $400-500 is just a little out of my price range, especially when they're only including 3-5 hi-res images. Is this the new norm? we didn't pay nearly that much for our newborn pics and got 60 images. Unfortunately, that photographer is not available this time around.

Can anyone recommend a photographer with a more reasonable package? I don't mind an up and comer.
