My CM was similar to that when I conceived and remained that way for the first few weeks of pregnancy. I also had a lot of mild cramping before my positive tests so I suspected something was happening. Good luck! :goodluck:

This is our 1st month TTC. According to Ovia app, should have O'ed on 4/27. I've had this snot-like CM since 5dpo (big glob of it then). Currently 12DPO, AF should arrive between today-Thurs. I've had AF cramps and terrible backache since 5/2. BFNs since 9DPO, but if AF doesn't show by Friday pm, I'll test again. This is also my 1st month charting CM, but I've read this kind of CM could be a sign of mucus plug forming? Anyone else get this before BFP? (sorry if photo is TMI or if I posted on wrong board!!)

I am attaching my opk photo as I am pretty sure the stick from this morning is positive. I am amazed how different they look from only about 12-14 hrs apart first test was from Monday then Tues am, Tues pm and the last this morning!

I am super excited for impending ovulation ;)

Thank you both. @simpyfelicity I was pretty sure I didnt O last cycle. It was 41 days long with no positive opk's and wonky cm and I was an emotional roller coaster. Now that I am post af I feel so much better and was surprised to have a possible OV sign already. I will keep monitoring :)

@Swoggette: Sounds like you didn't ovulate last month (that is very common when you have been on BCP for a long time.) As far as the faint line, you always have LH in your system but you are looking to have the test line as dark as or darker than the control line. Chances are, your body is getting ready to O but you aren't there yet. Just test every afternoon and the test line should get darker. The earliest I have O'ed while TTC was 12 dpo. Best of luck!

a faint second line is just indicating that you have some LH in there, not that you're ovulating. Mine is pretty much always with a faint second line, and then when that starts to darken, I know I am possibly heading for ovulation! both when I came off bc and postpartum, I had a bunch of cycless of darkening opks over a couple of days but no true positives while my body was amping back up to fertility!

Anyone O really early? I am on cd 9 today and have had ewcm since yesterday! As I am not charting this cycle I have no idea my temps. But my opk has a faint second line (wondofo) and last cycle I had zero faint lines let alone a positive.
PS this is only my second cycle off of an 8 yr course of bcp. Last cycle I either missed detecting O altogether or it was annovulatory.
Thanks in advance for chiming in :)

@fotolori1: she's right! By the time you ovulate your egg is most likely already gone so its pointless to have good CM. good CM will catch the sperm and keep them alive for at least a day and sometimes 4 while they wait to meet the egg. So it sounds like you are okay to me.

@fotolori1: I think you are meant to have good cm before you ovulate. The days leading up to O are supposed to be your best chances for conceiving. I think that after you O, cm dries up to protect the egg or something like that. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in on this for me.

I have the same problem! Seems like right before I ovulate I have good cm, but then when I need it, there is none! I have been taking mucinex as my RE told me, but it doesn't help. I'm glad I'm not the only one to wonder about that!

Ones when I went "digging around" this morning and anther time when I wiped after a BM. Now I'm worried that all my good CM is coming out and being wasted. Is that super dumb? I mean I feel like its dumb but I just wanna ease my dumb brain. Im afraid to dry it all up. Hahaha

@MrsScottish: This thread caught my eye because when I was half-heartedly charting I only went by CM, and never got eggwhite. Like you, I was "wet" for like 3 days, and we BD on those days and one day later, and lo and behold I got a surprise BFP after one month of trying.

Ok, first month off the mini pill. Trying to figure out what my body is doing. Even on the mini pill and again this month- I am on day 14 of this cycle, I get very .... Wet... For about 3 days. Days 10-13 ish. Like so much I think I am having bladder issues. Is this the watery cm that you talk about?? It has no real smell which is why I know it is not bladder issues. What does watery cm mean? What should I be looking for?!? Thanks!

I do touch CM around ovulation time to test for the stretch factor. But other times, I honestly use a mirror to take a peek, and that's enough for me. If I were using just CM to figure things out, I would get more touchy with it and use a chart like Sugar.Biscuit.

@Thehistoryofus: lol I did! At the first little sign of it DH and I got down to business, even before that too just to make sure we didn't miss it. Then of course, the days after. We basically had sex 8 days in a row around the time I though I was ovulating (before, during and after) and that's all it took to get pregnant that month. We were on our first official cycle, second unofficial. I always laid low after sex and didn't stand up right away, and only used pre-seed which I really feel helped. Good luck :)
