I don't think anyone is ever fully ready. Even if they think they are, we all have freak out moments as the due date approaches. I have dreamed about being a mom since I was 12, and when we finally pulled the goalie I was scared shitless. Now that I am pregnant, I am still scared but also really excited! Lol :) I don't think there's ever a way to be really ready and really prepare. It will change your life regardless of when you have a baby. I would say just keep open communication lines with your DH and make sure yo'ure on the same page. I felt super ready to have a baby and then when I got my BFP I freaked out. It took time to get used to the idea, and then I freaked out againn when LO was born.
