@Chillybear: Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope you're ok.

In response to your initial post, my DH came off his meds in early 2013 and he is sick all the time too. I asked him if he thinks its because of the medication - he doesn't. He thinks its since having E because she brings allsorts back from daycare.

So fun times ... I was expecting them to tell me it was viral... Instead because I'm on oral bc and flew twice in the last week and have a low grade fever the dr sent me over to the ER to get a chest X-ray to be sure I don't have a clot... Fun times

Have you ever had sinus problems? Or been tested for allergies?

A few years ago I had pretty much constant head colds with a bout of bronchitis thrown in every month or two. It ended up all being caused by allergies and poor sinuses. I started getting allergy treatments and eventually had sinus surgery and my life is completely different.

I feel like i'm sick all the time. Currently I have a wicked cough that's been keeping me up all night and OTC cough medicine isnt doing a thing. Just since the beginning of February I've have 4 separate incidents of colds that I get maybe a week where i feel ok then I get sick again. I'm heading to see my Dr today and i'm just afraid she's going to tell me i have a virus and there's nothing i can do. I dont know anyone who gets sick as often as I do or have it linger as long as i do. I'm wondering if my immune system is permanently damaged when i was on Immune Suppressants a few years ago but i've been off them since 2012. Any ideas of talking points i can bring up to my dr?

I'm reading this after my third night in a row (at least) of sleeping poorly. A lot of it is that I have these crazy stressful vivid dreams, then wake up and cant go back to sleep, but last night I just. Couldn't. Sleep. And I'm only 17 weeks! I think I'll be getting a body pillow to start with soon. Good thing we are getting a king bed next month.

I found that a wedge pillow under my bump helped a lot. I had the Boppy Wedge (http://www.amazon.com/Boppy-5200100K-6PK-Prenatal-Sleep/dp/B00474CUTO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361248415&sr=8-1&keywords=boppy+wedge) but I think a higher & firmer wedge would have been even better.

I'm 33 weeks and here's how I've been dealing so far: A body pillow on one side, a pillow at my head and a king size pillow on the other side for when I turn over (to hug/put between my knees). I also have a snoogle and use that every few nights, but I find if I use it every night I get a stiff neck.

I get sore hips (like, burning in my IT bands), but find that rolling out on a foam roller and doing supported pigeon pose before bed really help with those. I sometimes stretch again in the middle of the night if my hips start acting up again.

For me the worst time is between 3:30 and 4:30 (the baby is insanely active at that time), but once I get back to sleep I can sleep quite well after that.

I just have one extra pillow that I keep to my right side. When I'm facing the right, I have it wedged half under my stomach for support and have the end of it between my legs. When I'm facing the left, I sort of lean back on it to give my back support. This definitely helps me sleep.

BUT it only works on ONE SIDE of me. If I put the pillow on my left side, I can't get comfortable! I have no idea why.

I love the snoogle and cannot live without it. My labrador is also obsessed so I think it will continue to get use when I am finished with it - ha. The other things that have helped me are wearing light clothing [shorts vs. pants, etc.] and laying on the side of the bed where the bathroom is so I can just roll off the bed and into the bathroom and then go back to sleep without turning any lights on, etc. I try not to look at my phone or even open my eyes when getting up and its really helped me get right back to sleep when I go back.

At first I thought it was overkill, but now I absolutely love the Todays Mom pillow my husband bought: http://www.amazon.com/Todays-Mom-Comfort-Pregnancy-Pillow/dp/B001A0M3LI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I am a stomach sleeper so transitioning to a side sleep was really hard for me, especially hard on my hips. This pillow lets me sleep in such a way that I still feel "grounded" like stomach sleeping, but props up my belly so I'm not squishing it/uncomfortable.

And I'm not sure if this is related to the pillow use or not, but I'm running through pregnancy and before the body pillow, I had a lot of butt/hip pain. It seems to be better now (not sure if it's related to the pillow use or just my body adjusting to running while pregnant or something else).

I'm a snoogle lover - it was magic for me. I couldn't sleep without it. No other combination of pillows worked. When I had a cold, I would put another pillow for my head on top of the snoogle and sleep more propped up, which helped a little with the congestion. I hope you're feeling better and sleeping better soon!

Yes to a humidifier! I also slept with a ton of pillows. I had one of those wrap around body pillows and then I would place an additional pillow on top of it so that I could be propped up, an additional one at my lower back. I would sleep sort of like the woman in this photo.

Definitely get a pillow of some sort in between your legs! I know everyone swears by the expensive pregnancy pillows, but a Target body pillow did the trick for me.

Can you also try the breathe right strips for your nose to help you breathe better naturally? I didn't deal with the congestion as much, so I'm unfortunately at a loss as how to help you there.

Ok bees, help me out. I am having the *worst* time sleeping lately. Between being so congested I go through a box of tissues every couple of days (and have to sleep with my mouth open, which for some reason makes it harder to sleep) to just feeling awkward and uncomfortable when I sleep (and having pains when I shift position), I am just a miserable wreck. I was up from 2am-5ish this morning, and I'm draggin. What helped YOU sleep better? A humidifier? A body pillow? Kicking your snoring husband into another room (or house haha :p). Help!
