But it doesn't seem like your kids need the high limits of the Britax so you could also look at the graco nautilus, graco tranzitions, or harmony defender. This isn't on your list, but we are most likely going to buy the Diono Monterey for her booster. If you want 5 pt harness that will grow into booster, I would go with the Frontier, at least for your younger son. We looked at the Rainier too but it didn't look like it really added that many features and was a lot more expensive. I like how narrow the RXT is. I took two very thin baby wash cloths and wrapped them around the straps near her neck and it took car of it. We had the convertible RF in the middle too, but we got a new car and moved it behind the passenger seat. I find it much easier to install there and to buckle LO in securely from the side. </p> <p>When new baby comes we will do infant seat behind passenger and convertible FF behind driver probably, unless DH can move the seat back far enough with it RF, which I doubt. </p> <p>We test drive an RDX and weirdly, I could not install our nextfit securely with latch.
