Yes!

My mom swears falling barometric oressure makes some people feel off and says maybe that's why my daughter gets out of sorts in nasty winter weather.

@travelgirl1: Haha, LO's been loud and whiny lately. I can't wait for the weekend to let him sleep in a little. Maybe he'll chill out a bit.

@LuLu Mom: Yeah, I think we cut him a break for awhile, but it's gotten out of hand with the behavior. I'm hoping that cold lessening will help. I've had to be so much more firm in the mornings than I normally I have.

Not sure if it's more time indoors but we have had a ton of throwing herself on the floor and crying lately. It frustrates and amuses me in equal measures :silly:

We've had a sick 2.5 year old, and with that has come very demanding behavior. Like she's forgotten her manners, the rules, ect. At first I let it go, knowing she didn't feel good, but I think she's testing us so I've started to lay down the law a little bit more.

@catlady: @Foodnerd81: Glad I'm not alone. This week has been just awful for him. Yesterday, he left preschool early so he didn't get a chance to run in the studio there. Hopefully today, he'll run some beans out there before coming home. The past two nights he reenacts the pumpkin rolling scene from "Curious George Boofest" down the hall. It gets some of the energy out. It feels like since Christmas, he's been nuts even with outside time or going to Pump It Up to burn energy.

Oddly enough, he really wants to take baths right now. He resisted baths for awhile there and now loves them.

Yes to all of this, though c isn't even in preschool yet. Between being sick and the weather, we can't go anywhere and I think she is as stir crazy as me. So annoying. And we are getting more snow this weekend. I won't be able to use my stroller on the sidewalk for months. :crying:

Ugh, yes. LO's been super moody lately. She's only been at daycare for an average of 3 days per week for the last 8 straight weeks(!) due to snow, illness, and holidays. It's too cold to play outside (plus the snow is simply too high) so we have been cooped up alot. I think she is bored. She likes to run around and we just don't have the space.

Anyone else's toddler acting out of sorts lately? My almost 2.5 year old has been impossible most mornings this week. Every little thing in the morning is an even bigger struggle than before. He's just not listening and obeying the way he was before.

He's been sick for almost two weeks with a cough and runny/stuffy nose. We're thinking the cold is part weather and part new preschool plague. We saw the doctor yesterday who said to ride through it because he checked out healthy otherwise.

I'm hoping that this is just weather (5th biggest for our city) coupled with cold. Where's my happy, normally obedient 2 year old? Anyone else dealing with owly toddlers?
