Just wanted to chime in to say - mint tea has saved my sanity! From weeks 6-10 I was feeling awful pretty constantly. I felt like I tried everything - Wristbands, eating all the time, smelling a lemon, anything and all things ginger - some of it helped for a moment or two, but nothing consistent.

My accupuncturist recommended peppermint or any mint tea. I finally tried it this weekend and I'm like a whole different person. I just always have a mug with me and sip on it throughout the day. I felt like myself for the first time in over a month.

I had never heard the mint option before so I wanted to be sure to share it here. It might work for those of you who haven't found much relief in other remedies. Good luck!

Zofran and Coke. Eating carbs (I.e. crackers). You'll still feel hungover but not AS bad. Sorry. I had it a combined 24 out of my 39 weeks.

Two things that have helped me this time around- Otter Pops, my 11 year old cousin brought me one when we were at the beach last week, it really helped!

Also I found these Chimes Ginger Chews at one of our little markets the other day (Fresh and Easy if you have them). These are awesome, I eat one, it really burns like regular ginger, but then it gets rid of the nausea for a half hour or so! It gives me a chance to eat, which then makes me feel a little better!

I also used the B6/Unisom combo. It helped a little. I had all day (and night) sickness too, and like you, throwing up didn't make me feel any better...

Call the doctor and see if she'll give you Zofran. If I had known that mine would last 24 weeks, I would have pushed harder to get it in the beginning. Good news is, puking doesn't actually hurt the baby... If you're keeping something down, baby is getting some nutrients. You're body will give them to him/her before it takes them for you.

thanks ladies, I wish I could say that puking helps me feel better, but normally I still have that feeling when I'm done. I work in a small office with one bathroom, and me running in it every 20 minutes isn't helping the fact I'm still trying to "hide" the pregnancy, I"m guessing the cat is out of the bag.

I'm considering calling my doctor to see what she says, I'm going on day 4 where I am keeping down only about 1/4 of what I'm eating/drinking. Can't be good for the baby.

I'm from San Diego and we have a ton of Mexican candy that can be found anywhere. All the tamarind candies worked wonders!!! The Pelon Pelo Rico in the push-up tops especially worked for me. I took a bunch during our international flight and it actually stopped my nauseousness.

I tried every single home remedy that was out there... and then I succumbed to Zofran. Like others, I was still fairly nauseous, but at least I was keeping food down. Sucking on lemon drops also helped a little when I was feeling really nauseous. My case of "morning" sickness was pretty extreme. I hope you have an easier go of it!!

Preggie Pop Drops helped me when it was just mild but all day nausea. Nowadays I need to keep my something in my tummy like @artbee. I keep dried fruit, crackers or the like around to munch lightly on every few hours to keep the nausea at bay. I've also been liking sparkling water, especially the lemon flavored one.

I had severe hyperemesis and was on Zofran which helped a lot but sometime it felt better to just throw up than deal with the nausea. Also i noticed when i didnt get enough sleep, the nausea was worse, so i tried to sleep as much as i could. Hope you get some relief soon.

ditto Zofran.
I have ginger gum which helps for like two minutes and then it's over. :( If I continually drink ginger ale that helps a little depending on what I've already eaten that day..soda is not the greatest thing for me.
My doctor didn't even ask any questions, just said, yes, here's the prescription, take it if you feel you really need it.

Honestly, the only thing that helped me was Zofran. Talk to your doctor and see if he/she thinks that would be an option for you.

I still felt mildly nauseous on Zofran, but I kept food down (most of the time), and that was my biggest concern.

This week the morning sickness bug has struck me and it's lasting all day. I have tried the usual lemon drops, ginger ale, ginger tea, ect. and wanted to know if anyone else had some home remedies that worked for them?

I'm desperate at this point to start keeping food down and not feeling nauseous all the time. Any suggestions welcomed! Help please :)
