Now we are leaning toward building a home. we can't seem to find the home and land that we want in an older home and All the new construction homes in planned communities have small yards. We know what builder and home we want now we are just looking for a lot we like.</p> <p>If you have built a custom home before, any words or advice? Did you buy the land first then have the builder build or do a construction loan and have the builder purchase the lot? Knowing what you know now would you do it all over again or find a preexisting home? Any costs you didn't factor? This is all so new to us its exciting but overwhelming too! </p>
