In previous cycles I had been taking Super B Complex, which I swear what delaying O for me. This cycle I stopped taking it and started taking B6. My O day seriously jumped back up to when I first started charting. I have no clue if it helped my LP or not, because I got a BFP.

I only took it after O, but it didn't seem to affect my luteal phase at all (had an 8-9 day LP, only thing that changed it was progesterone).

I have taken a b complex every day 4 months now and I don't notice much of a difference. My period was 5 days late this month but that was due to a late HSG. TTC going on 8 months now.

Got AF this morning. I knew I wasn't pregnant. Sucks.
Onto cycle 8 with all tests (fsh, thyroid, HSG saying things look good, except some minor sperm speed issues on his end.... And progesterone was low. Ugh. Not happy.

Other-my BFP came on my HSG cycle! I did O a week late that cycle, though, because I got a cervical infection from the procedure.

I say go ask for a blood test!!! :goodluck:

Hi all! I'm going crazy. Maybe you can help? I had an HSG at CD 13, later than normally recommended but the only day the MD could do it. Tubes and uterus were all great and clear. I usually O (back when I was temping and OPK) around day 16-17.

Still no AF. Absolutely not one pregnancy symptom.
Three BFN's. I'm on CD34 now when my cycles are normally 26-30 days.
How long am I going to be in purgatory? Did anyone have delayed period after HSG? What ended up happening? Help! ugh! I feel like I'm just wasting so much time (TTC 7 months now)

I took a b100 complex which helped to lengthen my LP from 8 to 10 days. On the third month taking it, I got my BFP. It didn't delay O but I always had a late O, anywhere from CD 16-20. After my BFP, I switched to B50 complex and kept taking until 14 weeks.

Didn't delay o for me,but did lengthen my LP from 9 days to 11. It was recommended to me by my ND.

ETA: It's meant to be taken in conjunction with b12.

@dc yoga bee: I took it my whole cycle one time but it delayed o by quite a few days - not sure how many exactly but enough that I didn't want it delayed so then I started taking it after.

I took it one cycle. It's the only cycle I've ever gotten a +OPK and then ovulated a week later. It did nothing for my LP. It gave me terrible side effects and tingling in my face and forehead. It delayed O. I never took it again and never will. Certain things are not to be messed with and medication and your cycle are some of those things.

@Ash: Eep!! DH is gone for the next two weeks, so we only BD today which is the first day of my fertile window. If it delays O, it might not be the end of the world because DH will be back on cd 19 and I usually ovulate on cd 17. How long did it delay ovulation for you if you don't mind me asking?

ETA: I see you took it after o.

After four cycles of using opks, and tracking what's going on with my cycles, it appears I only have a 10 day LP, which is debatable on the normal side. I googled natural luteal phase defect treatments, and Vitamin b6 immediately came up. I just started taking it on cd 8. However, I've now found lots of posts on the internet about it delaying ovulation. Sometimes, people reported having 80 day cycles after using this. Um, what has your experience been with vitamin b6 if you don't mind sharing! Did it delay or cause early ovulation for you!?!? Also, should I stop taking it, and only take it once I ovulate to lengthen the LP? I've taking it cd 8, 9, and today on cd 10 so far!
Thanks!
