My DH and I spent probably about 10 minutes off and on trying to find the heartbeat and then finally did. After about a minute we turned it off. Now I'm reading that you shouldn't use it more than 10 minutes a day or else it can cause damage. And I also felt that I had to point it way further down than I thought I would have to most of the time. </p> <p>OP - I read something online when I was using mine that if you lay down flat on a hardwood floor and point it down towards your public bone and angle it, going very slow side to side - that's the best way to find it.
