E has been doing this for months and I have spent the last few months (until very recently) going in multiple times to give it back to her. She also learnt at around 6 months that she could keep the whole house up by banging her dummy (paci) against the cot bars! She's like a prisoner banging a tin cup against her jail bars!! Finally, I just let him cry. He cried about 20 minutes and then fell asleep without it, which I never thought would happen! I would try giving it back to him once and then that's it. He'll quickly learn to stop throwin it out. We do use a paci clip at night though, in case it slips out of his reach. I let him cry for a bit and then went in and gave it back (and his lovey which he tossed as well!). We sleep trained around 6/7 months and he was such a great sleeper, and then BAM, attached to a soother. Don't know what happened. </p> <p>@pui: hm... yea, I'm not sure. The clips are metal and I can't imagine that being comfortable in the weird positions L sleeps in! haha.
