@nanilani: it is so hard. I have crazy amounts of CM today on CD 20 and since I started tracking in early spring - the only time I've had it is when I conceived. I am trying to remain hopeful but grounded about the chances but read into every possible symptom.

It's probably a good thing no one answered me when I first posted the question -- all you ladies would've gotten my hopes up that I was having real pregnancy symptoms last cycle, lol! Just starting my next TWW now and if my mouth is dry again this time around, you know I'll be reading a lot into it :silly: Thanks for all the replies!

I have! I had it with DD in very early pregnancy and again last month when I had a chemical pregnancy. I would drink tons and tons of water and still be thirsty/have dry mouth.

@nanilani: I am experiencing it terribly at 4-5 dpo. I don't know if it is a symptom but it's been really bugging me. I have dry mouth even though I drank 2L + of water and had to wake up to pee theee times last night.

@nanilani: I had TERRIBLE dry mouth, like sort of a chalky feel but only weeks 5-9.

@turquoisemama: No BFP that cycle. I'm currently toward the end of my FW and have dry mouth again and I always drink tons of water on weekdays, so I don't know what to make of it. Maybe it's a coincidence and I'm just looking for signs :silly: Congrats on your BFP!

@nanilani: Did you ever get a BFP? My mouth is really dry at first because I'm constantly thirsty but now I'm having extra saliva at around 6 weeks. Same thing happened with my older child.

Has anyone experienced dry mouth in the early stages of pregnancy, particularly before getting a BFP?

My mouth has been so dry today no matter how much water I drink! I've had a typical day's worth of water so far at 3pm and my mouth is still really dry. It's not even that I feel thirsty per se, just dry. I tested negative yesterday at 11 or 12 DPO, but AF is a no show so I'm having fun symptom spotting until I take another test in a few days. I have no recollection of dry mouth during my first pregnancy.
