The biopsy came back that one of them had trisomy 15 and was discarded, and the other was totally healthy. The embryo was then frozen so I could prepare for a FET.</p> <p>The doctor transferred that one healthy embryo in March, after taking a month off all meds to "detox" and allow for the most natural uterine environment. The embryo was totally hatched already and ready to implant. It survived the thaw just fine (technically, it was "vitrified" which is much safer than freezing and has a greater chance of thawing out safely).</p> <p>To prep for FET, l took estrogen pills, PIO, and estrogen patches, a baby asprin, and a vitamin D supplement. And I did acupuncture before and after transfer. No pineapple core or any of that.</p> <p>Well it worked and I'm 11 weeks pregnant with that one and only embryo! I only have 1 more week of PIO injections to go hopefully. I can't even believe it.</p> <p>I seriously gave up all hope with such a poor fertilization report but boy did those embryos prove me wrong. It was amazing to see our baby move on ultrasound and hear the heartbeat. I know I'm not out of the woods but wow... We made it this far.</p> <p>Don't ever give up!</p> <p>Also, the night after transfer I swear I felt the embryo implanting. I was having cramps and when I went to the bathroom in the morning, I had some dark spotting. I'm pretty sure it was implantation spotting!
