I once tracked down a 50-yr old, mint in box, die-cast toy that was made by a company long closed down, owned by a grandpa this person never got to meet. </p> <p>For DH, one of the first gifts I got him was an embossed brass box from 1914 (he was interested in old wars and this was issued in WWI). The initial on it matched his name. I put playing cards that were replicas of old posters from WWII with a matching comic issued during Christmas. </p> <p>Now he gets a matching apron with DD with their initials on it. On sale.
