DS falls over all the time. When he was learning how to crawl he would face plant on our hardwood floors. He would occasionally get a bruise but not all the time. He has fallen backwards more times than I can count and has always been fine. I think now at 11 months he is finally learning how to catch himself and not fall as hard.

I was putting C in her swing for a second and as I leaned down to put her down she tried to roll out of my arms and she face planted on the edge of the swing (with her bottom half still in my arms.) I picked her back up and she paused, looked at me, and started wailing. I was shocked! But she was fine!

G actually fell off the COUNTER when he was a baby. It was horrible! I was incredibly ill at the time and didn't realize he was just out of reach when I went to grab the towel (bathing him in the sink) he crawled out the sink & went to sit of the counter but his bottom sat off the edge. I tried to catch him but just couldn't move fast enough. He ended up with a small skull fracture & stayed over night for observation. He's grown up just fine, but that day was one of the most horrible days of my life!

P has face planted a couple times now that she's crawling all over but nothing that a little boob couldn't fix. lol

So of course I avert my gaze for a bit and my LO who is sitting right next to me on the carpeted floor falls back onto his head and makes a loud thump! :( It took him a couple of seconds before he wailed loudly. I felt so bad! I hope he's okay. Has this ever happened to you? Was your LO okay?
