I dropped overnight between 37+6-38. I woke up in the morning and was quite certain of it, and it was confirmed by my midwife at my appointment a few days later. My water broke (labor beginning?), I didn't have contractions until about 12 hours later, she didn't really 'drop' until I pushed her out 6 hours after contractions started. The contractions had to bring her down. I was standing while chatting with some friends and suddenly I felt a crazy flutter... A very fast thump like feeling. I didn't really feel it again though until around week 19. By then it was a little more consistent. The best part of feeling baby move, is those couple of weeks when ONLY YOU can feel baby. You will feel baby before anyone else from the outside because the kicks aren't strong enough for the outside feel. It helped to know what I was looking for.</p> <p>It was super fun for the first pregnancy and one of the things I missed most, they are mostly uncomfortable for the second, but I really appreciate them for peace of mind. </p> <p>It's funny because I'll think about it, realize I haven't felt baby kick in a while, then shortly after I feel him. It's uncanny! </p>
