we got a farm from my aunt and uncle. she picks them up and eats them. but also she can open and close the silo door and put the hay in the silo. i would definitely see if you can find a house or castle or something!

She liked them around 18 months but closer to 22 months she really got into them. I got Snow White and the 7 dwarves at target on Black Friday for $15! I also got a huge lot of little people (like 10 kids and various things like chairs and tables and a barn and tons of animals for $25) on Craigslist

Yay! So I will try to give them to her tomorrow. I guess no worries about choking. ;) But it seems like they need something (a castle, bus, or farm, bucket?) to go in?

DS is 19 months and loves the LP bus. He does play with the other sets we have but he loads/unloads/pushes around the bus everyday. He also learned the animal names (not staying them but know which is which) by playing with the zoo and farm animals.

Definitely lots of praise for the snugabunny. It's actually on sale at BRU right now but I will check nbd too since it's usually much cheaper. Glad everyone thinks it's gender neutral enough. We're opting for as many gender neutral pieces as possible since we plan to have more kids. Thanks everyone! You've been a ton of help.

We have the bunny for LO and it was a lifesaver. She stopped using it around 4.5 months, but we could NOT have survived without it for the first 3 months! We chose that one mostly due to the plug. All the other baby gear use enough batteries as it is!

@marionberry: We have the Snugabunny . . . I think it's fairly gender neutral (with the coloring). My LO hated it when she was small, liked it around 3ish months, and loved it shortly thereafter . . . she still loves it now at almost 11 months (she weighs right around 18 pounds). My LO is on the smaller side, so she's not even close to the weight limit. Being able to plug it in was awesome(!) and we didn't have any problems with the motor.
