We tried both during the first week and decided to go with all fitteds. Like @caffeinated, I was terrible at the origami folds and DH got incredibly frustrated with the folding too. It didn't help that LO squirms and screams like crazy during diaper changes - not conducive to fumbling around with prefolds! We've narrowed it down to two diaper services: One offers fitted diapers (we'd still be putting a shell over it to prevent leaks/dampness through to clothes), and the other offers pre-folds. So in either case, we'll be using the protective covers/shells over top. </p> <p>What's the benefit of the pre-fold vs the fitted? Any advice? The pre-fold diaper service is cheaper, but to me, wouldn't the fitted be easier/more convenient? I'm confused! Help! </p>
