I'm talking about yogurt and cheese specifically?

My LO (16 months) is sick with a cold, and it is really affecting his eating. He mostly nurses, so I'm really grateful that I'm still breastfeeding, but he's even less interested in my solid offerings lately! Does your LO's eating change when they are sick and what do they like to eat instead?

So this past weekend I got some fresh blueberries for my LO to try. I knew she wouldn't eat all of them so I froze some (cut up). Turns out she loves the frozen ones, not the fresh ones. Tried the same thing with cut up carrots (cut into cubes and boiled till soft). She didn't like the carrots when they were fresh in the fridge but she ate a ton of frozen pieces.

Other suggestions for foods that I can feed frozen? I would like things that can defrost quickly in case she did have trouble with a piece.

A few thoughts I had:
- frozen peas
- frozen yogurt drops
- other small frozen fruit pieces

Egg Yolks
Beans, Lentils, Chick Peas, Soybeans
Artichokes
Dried Fruit - Prunes, Raisins
Spinach, Collards
Sweet Potatoes
Pumpkin
Watermelon
Green Beans
Tofu

And if you eat iron-rich foods with something high in Vitamin C, the iron will be absorbed better by the body. So try combining the above foods with
Citrus
Papaya
Kiwi
Bell Peppers

DS is slightly anemic as well and has been on an iron supplement since 6 months.

Spinach, kale, grass-fed lamb, prunes, lentils/beans

For a grain amaranth is high in iron. I think you can get that as a cereal. Quinoa, which you can get as a cereal simiar to cream of rice, also has iron but it contains some iron inhibitors soothe body doesn't absorb all the dietary iron available.
