So this past weekend I got some fresh blueberries for my LO to try. I knew she wouldn't eat all of them so I froze some (cut up). Turns out she loves the frozen ones, not the fresh ones. Tried the same thing with cut up carrots (cut into cubes and boiled till soft). She didn't like the carrots when they were fresh in the fridge but she ate a ton of frozen pieces.

Other suggestions for foods that I can feed frozen? I would like things that can defrost quickly in case she did have trouble with a piece.

A few thoughts I had:
- frozen peas
- frozen yogurt drops
- other small frozen fruit pieces

Yay! I know every bag I get to put in the freezer makes me excited because I'm so worried that when I go to work I won't be able to keep up with pumping, and I am determined to breastfeed the first year. I think I have about 200oz as of now! I freeze between 10-15oz a day. I figure if for whatever reason I can't keep up with pumping or I don't pump enough to keep up with my LO the freezer stash will last me a little while longer.

Yea! That is a great feat to have that much milk stored up. I don't remember how much I had in the freezer when I went back to work but my freezer stash and what I was pumping at work finally dwindled to less that what my son drinks during a day about 3 weeks ago (8 months). We finally started supplementing with formula then but I still nurse him in the morning and evening.

I just wanted to share that I have successfully saved 100 ounces of breastmilk in the freezer! It makes me so much more comfortable about going back to work knowing that if I have a bad pumping day, LO will not starve! It was a lot of work and a lot of late nights and long feedings to save it up, but I know its best for my baby and my sanity!

Does anyone else have a freezer stash? Did you use it all at once (after your breast milk had dried up) or did you cycle through it?
