This ia the inky phone that I really cared to learn how to operate. I love the multiple internet windows, my stylus, the ability to take pics and use the camera forward facing, I love the sound. IMO, people who say otherwise are looking for problems, where as with the iPhone they automatically assume it's perfect and write off any glitches. (Apple does have pretty much the best branding ever since Diamonds). The phone looks nicer, is much easier to customize, and I don't miss any apps that I had on my iPhone because I've been able to find everything in the google play store and apps are actually cheaper. </p> <p>The only thing that drives me bonkers is the alarm... For whatever reason, I've had a couple of issues with it and I don't fully trust it to wake me up, so I've been setting another alarm on top of it.</p> <p>ETA: The keyboard also sucks on the galaxy S4.... the autocorrect is TERRIBLE. I downloaded SwiftKey and my problem has been solved! I do think the Galaxy S3 (and I would assume S4) takes better photos than my iPhone. Maybe that is user driven and the samsung corrects for that when iPhone doesn't but I always want him to take photos with his camera vs. mine. I also like the swipe typing on his phone and that his is bigger but lighter. However, I always mess myself up on his phone but have yet to screw myself over with my iPhone. My brother has a cell store and he told me it's a common problem with an Active. I wish he would have told me that before we committed to it! That's why we got him that one too because of the waterproof. I was going to as well because of our LO but changed my mind when I read online that the picture quality is not as good.<br /> And oh the speaker function on the Active is horrible. So if he's driving a lot and talking on speaker that can be a huge issue. Which my husband does.....</p> <p>If he wants the s4 too I would stick with the original. It's def better constructed than the Active overall.
