Yep like @sweetiepie: we use the Honeywell’s with the filters. The filters are cheap and easy to replace and the tanks stay clean.

Also hate the crane. Just got this for baby 2 and will probably get another for my 3yos room when he’s sick.
Has a filter and tank can be put in dishwasher. Or has a very large opening if you want to hand wash.
Can get on amazon or jet.com.

We have a Crane Cool Mist teardrop humidifier and it is impossible to clean if you say, forget to clean it for several weeks and it gets super scummy and moldy. I was registering for kid 2 and saw a dishwasher safe model that I stuck on there but I thought I would ask if anyone has an easy to clean cool mist humidifier you would recommend. I want something I can easily stick a hand in to clean with a brush.

@Ms.Mermaid: Thanks. We got a deal on the Pipa and Pepp so went for it. I didn’t want to deal with another bulky stroller so this will serve as the lightweight infant “snap and go” for us. Sorry you didn’t like it.

@ChiCalGoBee: coming back to say I finally got to test drive a Pepp and I am not impressed. It was kind of clunky, none of the adjustments/open/close mechanisms were intuitive, the basket is tiny, and the seat is pretty shallow so my 3 year old had trouble sitting in it. Also it has this super annoying feature of the waistbest where all the pieces come apart so it can be a 3 point harness as well as a 5 point harness but it’s so annoying to have to do the extra step of putting the waist belt together every time.

I think I’m going with the Mountain Buggy nano but I want to test drive one first.

@ChiCalGoBee: I'm so annoyed - the store is closing/moving and they already moved their floor model, so I couldn't test it. They had one in a box and it's 30% off, so I'm really tempted to just buy it and return it if I hate it. Our first ultrasound is tomorrow and I'm definitely not buying a $200 stroller until I know if this baby is happening, so I might go later this week. I did test drive the heavier Nuna stroller they had and it was pretty good.

I think I’m getting the Nuna Pepp or Mountain Buggy Nano - we have a cybex Aton, so same adapter, and lightweight and easy to fold is important. We’re keeping our Bob for once we’re out of the car seat stage, so I’m looking for a stroller we can basically use as an umbrella stroller. Also I’m not bothering with a running board - we’ll probably just have our 4yo sit on the front of the Bob if we need to.

@Littlebit7: Awesome. Absolutely awesome. Thanks so much for all this info. There are actually a few Bumbleride Indies in the area for sale, so I might check those out. I love that you can take the seat out so it can "just" be a carseat stroller for when she's little (without having to lug the extra seat). The rider board would be great for my son, too. Thank you!

Maybe a bumbleride indie with a board? They make a nuna adapter. I had the older model with my first kid. The push is awesome since it has air tires. Bumbleride also makes a board. The stroller weighs about 20 lbs (its not what I would call lightweight but I think thats about as light as you can go while still accepting a board and not veering into "Travel stroller" territory.
I have the thule mentioned upthread. I haven't used it with the adapter and i do love it, but I don't think it would take a board since there isn't really a place for the kids head to go (there is a metal bar between the handlebar). But generally speaking, its awesome. The BJ summit x3 has an even smaller and easier fold.
You could also consider a snap and go for the early days? I got a used maxi taxi which I really like. I leave it in the car. The nuns snaps right in and the basket is large.
Or last option: super light but not great push would be the yoyo plus adapters for the pipa. It takes a board (but looks sorta wonky). Its really lightweight and you could travel with it. They also make a bassinet

@ChiCalGoBee: If you wanted to stick with something like the Bob, check out the Thule Urban Glide. It has a nuna car seat adapter. And its lighter than the bob with an easier fold, i think.

No real advice, I will be using the Nuna Pipa with our second baby and plan to continue to use the Uppabay Cruz with it. However I don't consider the Cruz to be very light weight but the ride on board is nice. Nuna does make a lightweight stroller but I'm not sure if you can attach a ride on board.

The Cruz is great but it may be more stroller than you want. It folds easily and is a dream to push. Hopefully others will chime in.

We are expecting our second, and the first time around I had the Bob and used an adapter to snap our Britax seat in there. However, I didn't actually test them out together, and had no idea that both the Britax car seat and the Bob stroller together would be crazy heavy.

I know I want the Nuna Pipa car seat (many friends have recommended it), but I'd love to hear from anyone who has one what stroller you use it with? I'm looking for something relatively lightweight that folds easily. Our son will be 3.5 when the baby is born, so one with a standing board would be great, but not necessary. Thanks in advance for recs!

@agold: I have the green Oribel one and really like it. After buying the Oribel I saw the white Skip Hop in person at a store and preferred the thickness and quality of the Oribel plastic plus the white showed smudges.I want to say Skip Hop came with a foot rest thing in case the baby didn’t reach the ground. With the Oribel we folded up blankets underneath until LO was tall enough to stand on the ground. The Oribel converts to a toddler table and the legs stretch to become a table a 4 or 5 yr old can use too. LO uses his table to eat his meals and draw and color. The table is easy to stowaway when LO decides he wants to climb it. We bought the matching Oribel stools, but IKEA stools in white or green would work too.

@mrsjyw: Good to hear you like the binxy baby hammock. That's one of the things on my list to get for baby #2. (I had baby #1 less than two years ago, but there are still new cool things!)

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I plan to get the Skip Hop version of the actvity center you posted. Do you have either of those?
