Congrats!!! No guess, but did your doctor mention the cell free DNA test (MaterniT21 or Panorama)? I'm 35 and it was offered to me. They did a blood test at 10w pregnant, and I got the results shortly before 12w. We're having a girl, after 2 boys!

Congratulations! I also started to feel my biological clock ticking. But I had my first (a boy) at age 34, and will be having another boy at age 36. Good luck, and I'm sure your other kids are really excited. They are at a great age to help out once baby is here.

Haha. Ripe old age. Just had a babe at 36....

It's a boy!

Just kidding. Not sure about that ramzi method, I think it's just a guess.... since you're AMA you may qualify for the Materniti21 or Harmony (and the like) DNA tests... those will tell you the sex of the baby very early.

HI all!! We were seriously surprised to find out that we were expecting our first biological child. I had seriously given up and lost hope. I had come to terms with it as I was too busy running around our girl(8) and our boy(7) -- both brought to my life by my husband. I joke and say they were a packaged deal. I was glad and content as this two little ones were part of my every day life, mom not in the picture what so ever. So, now at the ripe (very ripe-lol) age of 35 I find that my reproductive system finally decided to work and we are anxiously waiting for July to welcome out first baby together. I am currently 11 weeks today, but my first ultrasound was done at 6weeks and 4 days. It was a transvaginal ultrasound. I've heard of the Ramzi theory but I'm having a difficult time understanding by that concept if my baby is predicted to be a boy or a girl. If anyone has the time to help me out - please do so! I'm so anxious to get ready for our babies arrival.

This is my dating ultrasound and people are saying I'm having a girl. At this stage ( 8 weeks/5days, I don't think the placenta has even formed yet. So I'm not sure how this ramsi method really works. This was abdominal so I guess girl because it would flip to the left side? Help!!!!

I came across this method and am super excited. It is not 100% accurate of course, but when I reviewed my 18 months old ultrasound from when I had it done at 10 weeks, his is definitely on the right, and he is definitely a boy.

So I have uploaded the 7 week ultrasound I had for all of you to guess.

My next ultrasound is on the 18th! I plan on asking them then what side my placenta is on. So weigh in and help me pass the time. :)
