My parents are happy we're not finding out as they're excited about the surprise. I have always wanted to be team green, and just think it's super special. Now that DH and I are married, MIL casually asked me do I hope for a boy or girl someday as she knows her son wants boys for baseball! When I told her Team Green, she got this really funny look on her face, and said that would be selfish b/c we will most likely have the first grandchild (we're the first to be in serious relationships let alone get married out of our siblings).</p> <p>I asked her what is selfish about not finding out the gender. She said as the first grandchild she and my mom won't get to pick up anything gender specific for 9mos. Um okay.. So, out of sheer curiosity, is having the first grandchild a good reason NOT to be Team Green for you! </p>
