Kayla Itsine's workouts are great and typically take 25 minutes! they are like HIIT/circuit training, with minimal equipment needed.
She has a lot of her workouts on pinterest:
https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=kayla%20itsines&term_meta%5B%5D=kayla%7Cautocomplete%7C4&term_meta%5B%5D=itsines%7Cautocomplete%7C4&remove_refine=transformations%7Cautocomplete%7C4
Here is one: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/362539838732539444/
So you do the two circuits, then repeat it.

You have access to a gym? I love James Grage's split body part workouts, they usually take me 45 minutes. But if you cut out the 15 minutes warmup jog at the beginning, then it will fit into your timeframe. The only workout of his I'm not a fan of is legs. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/james-grage-rewired-9-week-fitness-trainer-main-overview.html?searchterm=Rewired

Bodybuilding.com also has some great tabata style workouts.

If you had 30 minutes two times a week to workout at a gym (no classes, just equipment), what would be the most effective routine or series of exercises?
I feel like my body has gone haywire - down to my lowest since my wedding (112) while nursing a newborn to my current highest (128) since weaning down to once a day with a 2.5 year old and I'm petite so it shows! Most of my weight is settling in my stomach and I had a c-section so suggestions about the best exercises for that are much appreciated.

@GrapeCrush: @septca: polices must vary by location...Our ymca does change diapers in the infant room and toddler room if they need to (poopy or wet enough to cause fussing only), but they can't change their clothes if they are potty trained and have an accident.

It is also pretty standard to go get the parents for a very fussy baby, although I think in most cases we would take the child back if they were calm and the parents wanted to try again. Most don't try though...Once we get them they take them home and try again another day.

I LOVE our gym childcare. It's a YMCA, so their childcare workers swap out from their daycare - so they are really well trained and love their jobs. Bonus is that it's always the same 2-3 women, so DD knows them and loves them. They have great toys, crayons, etc. Absolutely do it!

ETA: Agree that they don't change diapers. They are supposed to, and have a changing station, but I have never seen them actually do it.

I'm a huge fan! My son has a lot of fun in there, and I feel better when I'm taking care of myself. They don't change diapers like other PPs said, and they have a sanitization policy and other rules listed on the door. The 2 hours they allow are more than generous - I can get it done in an hour and change.

Do it!!

I chose the more expensive gym for this very reason and it is worth every precious penny. And J actually enjoys his time there too.
They are great about germs and such - they actually don't even change diapers - they call you down for that. It's possible he's gotten sick from that gym (we don't know where his HFM came from), but possibly just that once - but that could have been from church or anywhere else really.

Anyway - our gym allows up to 2 hours per day of childcare - more than enough for us - and helps us get our workouts in. The only bummer is that weekends have super limited hours that sometimes makes it so we can't go after his nap, and weekend mornings are usually really busy. But that's obviously unique to just my gym.

We tried a gym daycare once when LO was 6 months. They came out after 20 minutes to hand our child back because all he was doing was crying. Okay... I guess that makes sense. We calmed him down and try to give him back so we can finish our workout and they said no. We canceled our membership on the spot and went else where.

I hope that doesn't happen to you! I was just trying to tell you my experience... it was bad. :)

I SAH, and while we leave our 20 month old twins with sitters for date nights, etc. it's always with family or a trusted babysitter. But...I need to go to the gym. Like...it's time to lose 50lbs and since I'm by myself with twin toddlers 11 hours per day, I am an EXPERT at making excuses not to get on the elliptical. I toured a small, clean nearby gym today and was impressed with their child care room.. It was clean, (I watched them sanitize the toys ), under control, and my kids were pretty excited about what they saw. Has anyone ever used their gum's childcare? Have you and your kids lived to tell the tale? Is it worth the risk of them getting sick?

We are probably doing something like this for LO's 2nd birthday. It's about $500, and they pretty much do everything--all set up, wrangle the kids for 1.5 hours, have an open gym space for them to run around...I think it's the perfect party, TBH! No set up or clean up for us, and the kids love running around the gym
